Favorite Star Wars Movie: Return of the Jedi

The attack on the second Death Star coupled with the Luke and Vader duel in the Emperor's throne room is perfection.

Favorite Star Wars Character: Princess Leia

She was the catalyst for two trilogies, refused to play the victim, and was deadly with a both a blaster and her razor-sharp wit. She was also both a royal and a military leader, as well as strong with the Force.

Why I Joined The Direct...

The opportunity to write about Star Wars and play a role in bringing news and content about that galaxy far, far away to fans is my dream job. I believe The Direct is something special and its a privilege to be a part of it. I'm excited to see what the future brings.

Savannah's Thoughts

- Crazy to think Babu wasn't going to survive! This is yet another reason to love Steven Spielberg.

- Since The Rise of Skywalker was the end of the Skywalker Saga, I feel the intention and meaning of the Skywalker name should've been explained or at least better presented on screen. Something as important as this shouldn't come as a surprise.

- I'm very excited for the return of Ahsoka and to learn about her life after leaving the Jedi Order. I'm especially curious about Ahsoka's interactions with the clone troopers, particularly Rex, and to learn how that will influence Order 66.

- While the lack of deleted scenes and commentary is disappointing, "The Skywalker Legacy" documentary offers a wealth of behind-the-scenes content and covers a vast number of topics fans will be interested in learning about.
