Now that Eternals has made its theatrical debut, Marvel's next film on the docket is the highly-anticipated and equally speculated Spider-Man: No Way Home.
While the Tom Holland threequel has been labeled as "Spider-Man: Endgame" and includes villains from Spider-Man franchises past, much of the conversation surrounding the blockbuster-to-be relates to the film's lack of marketing despite a steady flow of rumors and leaks.
After months of little to no information about the film, No Way Home's first trailer shattered records, offering fans plenty to speculate about; however, with the film only weeks away from its December release, Sony has yet to release an official poster or a second trailer while continuing to hint at Spidey connections to its own films.
While the wait for that elusive second trailer continues, a new No Way Home teaser revealed extended footage of a key scene from the original trailer.
New Spider-Man: No Way Home Footage Revealed
A new German TV teaser for Spider-Man: No Way Home offered a glimpse of new footage from the highly-anticipated film set to release on December 17, 2021.
The extended footage appears to show Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange and Tom Holland's Peter Parker in a free-fall after Strange's spell goes wrong.
This is followed by a quick, new view of the two falling into the mirror dimension with a camera zoom-out reminiscent of the mirror dimension imagery from 2016's Doctor Strange.

Spider-Man 3's "Strange" Connections to Marvel's Phase 4
While these new shots don't offer much in the way of new footage, it is, at least, something amidst the radio silence from Sony's marketing campaign for the film.
The extended footage also supports the fact that, even though No Way Home is a Spider-Man film, it looks to be the opening chapter of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which also stars Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff following WandaVision.
Perhaps this film is the "nexus" of Marvel's Phase 4 stories so far, connecting not only Strange and Wanda to Peter Parker but also to Loki's Multiverse.
While fans don't have much longer to wait to see the film, a second trailer is still expected; and now that Sony's Morbius trailer has dropped, more footage from Spider-Man: No Way Home should be on the way.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release in theaters on December 17, 2021.
