Over the next few weeks, Marvel Studios will be hyperfocused on closing out the year with a bang with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Sure, fans will be heading out in droves to see the work Marvel put in with Eternals as its new characters help the universe expand. And of course Jeremy Renner will finally get his own solo project as he mentors Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop in six episodes of Hawkeye on Disney+. Who can't be excited about that?

But the year's grand finale is the entry that will grab the attention of not only MCU fans but moviegoers all over the worldSpider-Man: No Way Home is coming and it's going to change the game.

After quite a delayed start to its promotional tour, the hype surrounding No Way Home only continues to grow exponentially. Thankfully, the movie's long-awaited first trailer blew expectations and online viewing records out of the water with the tease of Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange going up against classic villains like the Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus.

While the wait for the film's second trailer has become an excruciating endeavor, Sony and Marvel have offered small teases of new imagery from the film in an attempt to tide fans over for now. Most recently, a short international teaser helped with this mission by offering a couple of new shots and fresh lines of dialogue.

Spider-Man's Experience with Doctor Strange Magic

A Chinese TV spot for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: No Way Home revealed new footage and dialogue from Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in action.

This spot provided a new look at Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange performing the spell that's supposed to make the world forget Spider-Man's identity, and the Sorcerer Supreme asks Peter Parker, "you ready?"

Peter nervously responds, "whoa, whoa, whoa, hang on!" as the spell goes haywire and begins to seemingly tear apart the Multiverse.

These two shots expand on the scene of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange in the Sanctum Sanctorum from the first trailer where the spell is shown for the first time.

This trailer also gives more context to the shot of Spider-Man falling into a disfigured New York City, as he is shown holding the golden cube that Doctor Strange was trying to keep from him in the first trailer. Speculation has pointed to this box acting as a MacGuffin for the sequel's multiverse-driven storyline.

Spider-Man In a Multiverse of Trouble

It's becoming clear that Marvel and Sony are doing everything in their power to keep Spider-Man: No Way Home's secrets hidden for as long as possible. This TV spot continues that trend in full effect, although fans do get just a couple of seconds' worth of new content.

With Tom Holland's Peter Parker trying to keep his identity a secret as the Multiverse begins to come apart at the seams, the scene featuring Doctor Strange's spell is undoubtedly going to be a turning point in the movie. Even with this trailer providing short new clips of the magic surrounding Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorceror Supreme, no new information is revealed about the story behind this footage.

As for Spider-Man falling from the sky, this shot once again brings attention to the mysterious cube that fans have theorized over for months. It's still a mystery whether this shot comes before or after Strange pushes Peter's Astral form out of his body, but it's becoming evident that the box will play an important role early on in the MCU threequel.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will swing into theaters on December 17.
