Sony and Marvel's promotional campaign Spider-Man: No Way Home shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Set to release on December 17, 2021, Tom Holland's third Spider-Man film isn't just the conclusion of a trilogy, but also a Multiversal epic featuring Doctor Strange and former Spidey villains like Electro, Doc Ock, and the Green Goblin

Following the release of No Way Home's second trailer, fans received a flood of marketing for the highly-anticipated threequel, which ranged from multiple teasers and TV spots to interviews with Tom Holland and Zendaya and even new posters and artwork.

While some of the film's early posters drew criticism, Sony and Marvel's latest artwork has improved; and various new images featuring the web-slinger and Spider-Man 3's best baddies have just been released as part of a brand-new campaign.

New Spider-Man: No Way Home Game

To promote Spider-Man: No Way Home's upcoming release, Indonesia's Bank Mandiri revealed official images of Spider-Man (and possibly former Spider-Men) battling the film's villains in front of various Indonesian landmarks as part of a mini-game on Instagram.

The first piece of artwork shared on social media shows Spidey saving someone on the Suramadu Bridge amidst a sea of pumpkin bombs courtesy of the Green Goblin.

The next image shows Spider-Man coming through a portal to save a car filled with people in front of the Jam Gadang clock tower who have been threatened by Doc Ock's metal tentacles.

Doc Ock is back in the next Instagram post and locked in a battle with Spider-Man high above a train station.

Meanwhile, the next post features Spider-Man firing webs at the Green Goblin who's been knocked off his glider in front of Monas, Indonesia's National Monument.

One of the most interesting images has Spidey eating a snack while Doctor Strange sips tea on a rooftop in Jakarta while the Green Goblin, Electro, and Doc Ock are pictured in the background tied up in webs.

Speaking of Electro, the next piece of artwork features Jamie Foxx's Electro having just been hit by Spidey and radiating electricity above the National Museum of Indonesia.

The final piece actually consists of three pieces in one with Spider-Man in the middle facing Green Goblin coming through a portal and flanked by Doc Ock on his right and Electro on his left, both villains also employing portals.

New Spider-Man 3 Artwork Spoils No Way Home?

While this collection of artwork is meant to be a game, each piece is incredibly well done and it's fun for fans to see Jamie Foxx's Electro, Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock depicted in comic book-style pieces, not to mention they are set in Indonesia as opposed to New York City.

While fans shouldn't take these various images as canon, the final image which existed in three separate pieces on Instagram is worth paying attention to.

A portion of the caption for the central image of Spider-Man and Green Goblin reads, "Spider-Man must determine if he will pursue the Green Goblin who is about to mess up in another dimension!"

This is similar to the other two images with Doc Ock's caption reading, "Peter worries about Doc Ock's plans for a new dimension!" while Electro's states that "Electro wants to escape to another dimension!"

If these captions are reflective of the film's plot, it's possible these past villains may not just be a threat to Peter Parker's reality, but to other realities as well. Perhaps keeping those villains from going home or to another dimension will become Peter's mission?

Also, Gobbie's caption says Spider-Man must decide if he "will pursue Green Goblin." Maybe Holland's Spidey will follow these villains into another dimension, leaving him "no way home" by the time the credits roll?
