Spider-Man: No Way Home Reveals ANOTHER Trailer Is Coming Soon

Even though Marvel and Spidey fans have been talking about Spider-Man: No Way Home for most of 2021, the same can't be said for Marvel and Sony. For months, the MCU faithful (and theater chains) were desperate for any shred of marketing for this Multiversal epic; but now, two trailers and several teasers later, the conversation has changed.

Following the release of No Way Home's second trailer, the world has been overwhelmed with posters, TV spots, and interviews from the threequel's cast which has largely centered on the presence of villains from both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man franchises

While the studios are somewhat attempting to keep Maguire and Garfield's cameos (or lack thereof) a secret, some fans are wary of any additional marketing from the studios in fear that it might spoil the film. However, other fans feel the opposite and are eager for more.

Regardless of fan opinions, Sony and Marvel show no signs of slowing their promotional campaign down any time soon and have even more in store ahead of No Way Home's theatrical debut.

A Third No Way Home Trailer Coming Soon

The BBFC (British Board of Film Certification) has added another trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home to their listings. This will be the third trailer fans have received amongst the dozens of other TV spots and teasers.

This trailer is set to release on December 15, 2021, the same day as the movie's premiere in the United Kingdom and two days before its debut in the United States (December 17). The site does state that its runtime is approximately 2 minutes long.

It's currently unknown how much unseen footage, if any, will be featured in this trailer.

The Final Push for Spider-Man 3's Opening Weekend

The rush to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home's first trailer was similar to the scramble to pre-order the film's tickets when they went on sale on November 29 or "Spider-Monday." In fact, No Way Home's ticket sales crashed online servers and smashed pre-sale records.

While there was no doubt that Tom Holland's third Spidey film would perform well at the box office, the hype for No Way Home could lead to box office numbers theaters and studios haven't experienced since before the pandemic.

Perhaps this third trailer is Sony and Marvel's final push just ahead of the film's opening weekend in order to reach those record-breaking numbers?

However, with a third trailer comes concerns of spoilers, which is the last thing fans would mere days - or potentially hours - away from the film's theatrical debut. A major concern is that the studios might reveal Maguire and Garfield's potential roles early in order to generate the interest of the casual audience.

Hopefully, Sony and Marvel will take a page from their playbook from earlier this year and practice restraint until after No Way Home's opening weekend.
