This Friday's episode "The Phantom Apprentice" will lead to the series' final two episodes titled " Shattered ," and " Victory and Death " which will air on May 1 and May 4 respectively on Disney+.
WHAT THIS MEANS
In the synopsis for "The Phantom Apprentice," Ahsoka confronts Darth Maul on Mandalore during the long-anticipated Siege of Mandalore. While Star Wars Rebels fans know what happens to these characters in the future, Aliotti's tweet indicates this particular showdown may rank as one of the best moments of series. Something else to consider is the episode's title as it's a callback to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and our introduction to Darth Maul. Perhaps we will see parallels to the legendary lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Maul?
