While the road to the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League was a long one and arguably as fascinating as the film's plot itself, Snyder's vision technically began with 2013's Man of Steel.
The director continued Henry Cavill's Superman's story and laid the foundation for Justice League with 2016's Batman v Superman, all before stepping away from the 2017 film which was dramatically altered by director Joss Whedon.
Thanks to his fans and the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement, Snyder was finally able to finish and release his vision for Justice League. And now that the film is streaming on HBO Max, it can be said that a trilogy is now complete.
THE SNYDER TRILOGY IS COMPLETE
HBO Max released an officially-titled 'Trilogy Trailer' for Zack Snyder's trilogy of films for Warner Bros., all of which are now streaming online.
The lengthy four-plus minute trailer features scenes from Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and the recently released Zack Snyder's Justice League while also highlighted each of his trilogy's main characters.
SNYDER'S FILMS ON HBO MAX NOW TELL A FULL STORY
While it's said that Zack Snyder's Justice League is the director's realized vision, that's not entirely true.
When Zack Snyder set out to tell this story with Man of Steel, he planned for a much longer journey for Superman and the Justice League heroes.
His film itself is proof that he planned for Justice League sequels which is what many fans are demanding with the new #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement.
However, this trailer from HBO Max is proof that Snyder accomplished quite a feat in completing a trilogy; and for the first time, fans are able to experience his story in full on HBO Max.
