Even though Marvel's Loki has come to an end, more MCU series for Disney+ are on the way.

In addition to Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel, Marvel Studios is also filming She-Hulk for a 2022 release. The ten-episode series will explore the genre of a legal comedy and center on the character of Jennifer Walters, a lawyer, and Bruce Banner's cousin

While specific storylines and show elements are being kept under wraps, fans do know two things.

First, She-Hulk will stay true to the comics in having Walters break the fourth wall; and second, the series cast continues to add smashing talent to its growing roster.

NEW CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SHE-HULK

According to Deadline, Josh Segarra from DC's Arrow has been cast in an undisclosed role for Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk.

Segarra, who played Adrian Chase/Prometheus in the Arrow series, joins the likes of Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jameela Jamil as Marvel villain Titania, and Hamilton's Renee Elise Goldsberry as a character reportedly named Amelia.

In addition, 2008's The Incredible Hulk's Abomination played by Tim Roth is also confirmed to appear in the series and was recently seen in the trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

The Direct exclusively reported that Hulk's son, Skaar, will have a role in She-Hulk as well.

SHE-HULK'S NEW FRIEND FROM WORK?

The MCU is no stranger to experimenting with different genres while still finding ways to connect to its other projects, and a legal comedy series sounds like the perfect vehicle in which to continue that tradition.

In fact, Josh Segarra is familiar with playing characters with legal backgrounds. In DC's Arrow, his character, Adrian Chase, was the district attorney for Star City. However, he also played a villain in the series.

It will be interesting to see if his role in She-Hulk will be anything like his roles of the past.

Segarra joins an elite club of actors and creators who have dabbled both in Marvel and DC, the like of which include Zachary Levi, Laurence Fishburne, Florence Kasumba, actor/director Taika Waititi, Michael Keaton, director James Gunn, and more.

She-Hulk is set to hit Disney+ in 2022.
