Titans: Season 3 Trailer Teases The Joker & More Villains

Joker Titans Red Hood HBO Max

It was announced at DC FanDome that not only would the next season of Titans introduce multiple new characters from Batman's extended mythology, such as Scarecrow and Barbara Gordon, but that Curran Walters would finally become Red Hood too. Additionally, much of the season will be focused on Gotham itself as shown through leaked set photos.

A new trailer for the upcoming season of Titans was teased, and it's now available for all fans to see. It not only shows off Walters' introduction as the infamous Red Hood, but it showcases plenty of action too! This also comes with a surprise appearance by Batman's archenemy, the Joker.

Joker Titans Season 3

A brand-new trailer for the third season of Titans has been released. The trailer focuses mostly on Curran Walters' Jason Todd investigating a carnival only to be beaten by the Joker with a crowbar, similar to the comics.

Titans will return on HBO Max on August 12, 2021.

The full trailer can be seen below:

Some of the first footage shown in this trailer is Walters' Jason Todd investigating a carnival, presumably in search of the Joker, only to find one of his victims. Todd then proceeds to get beaten by the Joker with a crowbar in the same location.

There's no elaborate kidnapping or explosion, just the crowbar beating. It seems rather abrupt, but there will likely be more lead-up to Todd's eventual turn.

What can be gleaned from the trailer is that Red Hood will pay his surrogate father Bruce Wayne, once again played by Iain Glen, a visit, as shown by the bloody crowbar on the floor of his mansion. Also, despite set videos showing that Arkham Asylum will appear in the show, the actor for the Joker in this trailer is never actually seen.

That being said, it's curious whether this will be the villain's only appearance in the show.
