Over the last couple of years, HBO Max made its mark as the latest in the expanding group of players in the streaming game. Helping separate it from other major names like Disney+ and Hulu is the company's status as the home of everything relating to DC Comics. Featuring every movie in the DCEU and various shows from across the DC landscape, superheroes reign supreme on HBO Max.
Through the pandemic, Warner Bros. utilized HBO Max for its planned theatrical releases by airing their new films on the streaming service the same day they released on the big screen. This year, films like The Batman and Black Adam will already have their home on HBO Max set for a few months after they wrap their theatrical runs as well.
HBO Max is also adamant about sharing promotional videos with fans to hype up everything the service holds, which oftentimes includes using the biggest names from the DC Universe. Another one of those promo clips has just arrived, bringing a dozen animated and live-action superhero properties from across the DC-verse into the spotlight.
HBO Max Highlights DC Heroes
HBO Max released a 57-second video celebrating 12 different DC properties that the service either hosts or will host in the foreseeable future. This came with the message that "every hero needs a place to call home" across a few cuts of footage, finishing with "the streaming home of DC."
Leading the way is Robert Pattinson's The Batman, Warner Bros' latest theatrical release that debuted on March 4. The film will release on Blu-ray in June, but is expected be available on HBO Max later this month.
Following this are three other major DCEU films, including 2013's Man of Steel, 2020's Wonder Woman 1984, and 2019's Shazam!. Shortly after this are short clips from Rosario Dawson's DMZ, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, and John Cena's Peacemaker.
A quintet of TV series concludes the video Doom Patrol, the animated Harley Quinn, Pennyworth, Young Justice, and Titans.

DC's Heroes and Villains on HBO Max
While they exist in multiple universes, Warner Bros' cache of DC stories grows more expansive every year. From the regular additions to the DCEU to everything coming from the animated sphere, such as Harley Quinn and Young Justice, the studio has no shortage of DC superhero content.
This trailer doesn't necessarily promote everything from the DC realm that HBO Max has to offer, but it includes a few key players from multiple separate storylines. This comes with four movies and one TV show from the canon DCEU, two animated series, Epix's Pennyworth, DC Universe's Titans, and even Matt Reeves' first showcase of Bruce Wayne on the big screen.
This short clip likely isn't meant to tease anything specific from these projects or anything new coming to HBO Max over the coming weeks, but rather to provide a taste of what fans are in for with the streaming service.
All of the aforementioned titles are available to stream on HBO Max now. The Batman is expected to arrive on the streamer on April 19.
