Titans: Everything Revealed About Series & Season 3 at DC FanDome

Season 3 of Titans is on the way, and even though it still has yet to begin filming and will more than likely have  to be pushed back from its original fall 2020 release date, there's already ben much speculation as to what will occur in the new episodes. With Dick Grayson in his new persona of Nightwing taking charge of new team formed at the end of Season 2, the series is about to enter a whole new era, especially with its reported move to HBO Max.

With Damaris Lewis being bumped up to series regular, there is sure to be much more Blackfire in the show's future and there has been plenty of speculation as to which yet-to-appear DC characters will debut in the new season. So far, only Barbara Gordon has been confirmed, and it's not even known whether she'll be under the mantle of Batgirl or Oracle.

Considering all the unknowns at play with Titans right now, this panel provided a nice opportunity for the cast and crew to give some much-anticipated clarification on the status of the series.

Titans executive producer Greg Walker and stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Joshua Orpin, Damaris Lewis along with Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly gave fans a preview of the show's upcoming third season as well as revealed their "Top Titans Moments" of the first two seasons in a panel hosted by Damian Holbrook.

The cast started out by looking back on some of their favorite moments from past episodes of the show. Clips of the meth lab takedown, the frst time Donna Troy broke out her lasso, the "Drive Me Crazy" moment, Jason Todd hijacking the news report, and Krypto fighting attackers in the house were all included. The segment finished off with the scene with a clip from the fifth episode of the series of Dick Grayson fighting as Robin. During this segment, the actors commented on the relationships between their characters, and it was revealed that the rivalry between sisters Starfire and Blackfire will play a prominent role in the third season.

After the clips, executive producer Greg Walker was announced that Jason Todd will be taking on the alias of Red Hood and will be a new villain in Season 3. Jonathan Crane, better known as Scarecrow, will also appear.

Finally, Walker reiterated that Barbara Gordon will make her Titans debut in Season 3, but still no word on whether she will be known as Batgirl, Oracle, or take up another mantle entirely.
