Marvel Studios has its return to mainstream media within eyesight, as it prepares for the debut of WandaVision on Disney+ in January 2021. Disney Investor's Day included the show's second full trailer, and social media has kept the show trending since before any new footage released.
The team behind WandaVision sees the show's release on the horizon, and they are putting the promotional tour fully in motion thanks to a new official social media blast.
The official Disney+ Twitter page released a 23-second trailer teasing the imminent release of WandaVision on January 15, 2021. With the release arriving one month from today, this trailer includes multiple shots of the phrase "one month" in the style of the different eras of TV this show will be exploring, accompanied by footage from already released trailers.
The tweet can be seen below:
WHAT THIS MEANS
While this new trailer utilizes footage from both of the show’s first two teasers and the original Super Bowl spot from February, the most exciting part is clearly the “ONE MONTH” shots that bring WandaVision’s release closer than ever. The multiple eras of Wanda and Vision are shown off alongside quick shots of Kathryn Hahn’s mysterious neighbor, Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo, and Kat Dennings’ Darcy Lewis.
Disney and Marvel led up to the recent Disney Investor’s Day trailer reveal with a half-dozen new pictures teasing the different decades of the show’s plot. The hope is that more of the same is in the works with the show’s anticipated debut on Disney+ now just over four weeks away.
WandaVision will begin streaming on Disney+ on January 15, 2021. This will be preceded by the Marvel Legends series starting on January 8, where the first episode will focus on Scarlet Witch and Vision.
