Warning - This article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian Season 2.

After a self-contained first season narrative, The Mandalorian Season 2 is now widening the show's scope by bringing back iconic Star Wars characters from previous projects while further expanding the history surrounding Baby Yoda. The sophomore run of the show already introduced live-action versions of Cobb Vanth and Bo-Katan into the fold, and it also brought back fan-favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett into the mix.

It seems that the current approach of The Mandalorian in bringing back past characters is working well for the Disney+ series, and this was further amplified by the latest episode entitled "Chapter 13: The Jedi." The aforementioned episode saw the live-action debut of Ahsoka Tano into the world of The Mandalorian, and the wait was definitely worth it after months of rumors

The fan-favorite Togruta is being played by Rosario Dawson, confirming various reports that were made in the past months. Now, the actress took to social media to announce her arrival in the galaxy far, far away.

NEWS

In a tweet, Rosario Dawson, who plays the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2, encouraged fans to watch the latest episode of the hit Star Wars show by re-posting the preview of "Chapter 13" while tweeting the iconic catchphrase, "May the Force be with you."

WHAT THIS MEANS

It's fitting that Dawson used the most iconic line from the Star Wars franchise to encourage fans to watch the highly-anticipated episode of Season 2. Of course, the line was spoken by Dawson at the tail-end of "Chapter 13," and her tweet essentially pays homage to that notable moment.

Ahsoka Tano's arrival in The Mandalorian sets up her long-rumored spinoff show, but it is currently unknown if it will end up being the much-talked-about sequel to Star Wars: Rebels or her very own standalone series. Still, Ahsoka's inclusion in "Chapter 13" also teased the live-action debut of Grand Admiral Thrawn, and it opens up a vast array of possibilities for the Disney+ side of Star Wars moving forward.

After serving as a fan-favorite animated character, it's refreshing to see Ahsoka in all her live-action glory. The episode managed to replicate the lightsaber-heavy action scenes of Ahsoka from The Clone Wars and Rebels in captivating fashion, and Dawson clearly delivered those with finesse and bravado.

The hype surrounding Ahsoka bodes well for the Star Wars future of Dawson. Fans have patiently waited for the eventual live-action debut of the character for years, and it's great to see that it already happened in The Mandalorian. Given the positive reception of fans towards Dawson's portrayal of the character, it's safe to say that the appearance of the actress in The Mandalorian will not be her last.
