Last year, The Mandalorian received widespread critical acclaim after a successful debut season on Disney+. The Jon Favreau-created live action series managed to introduce fans to a plethora of amusing characters such as Baby Yoda and Din Djarin, along with a captivating storyline that hooked fans immediately.

The sophomore run of the show is now set to debut next month, and Disney and Lucasfilm have already ramped up the promotion ahead of its much-anticipated premiere. A wide array of images have already been released, providing fans with a glimpse of the core characters of the show. Not only that, several interviews from the cast and crew have also shed some light on what to expect this season.

The biggest reveal for The Mandalorian was in the form of the show's first trailer for season 2, and it featured a sneak peek of the new locations and characters that fans will witness when the series drops on Disney+ on October 30th. Now, another piece of promotional material has emerged, and it highlights the armor that Mando will wear during the majority of the second season.

From the get-go, it appears that Mando will be wearing new armor at some point during the events of The Mandalorian season 2. This development isn't surprising since the famed bounty hunter received multiple upgrades and design changes throughout the events of the inaugural season.

The upgrades were made after every successful mission of every Mandalorian, and this new armor could hint that Din Djarin will accomplish at least one job while trying to find the home of The Child. While the trailer did provide a glimpse of Mando's new armor, this look at the merchandise offers a closer look at the armor, giving emphasis on the shiny attribute of the new costume.

While this new set of merchandise doesn't offer much aside from the new armor, it still adds to the hype surrounding The Mandalorian season two. The trailer has finally dropped after months of waiting, and it is expected that a slew of speculations will be made about the narrative direction of the second season. It will be interesting to see how The Mandalorian season 2 will all come together, especially after the multitude of rumors and character additions in the past months.
