Justice League: Zack Snyder Reveals New Look at Ray Fisher's Cyborg

Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Victor Stone as a star football player

Zack Snyder's Justice League will take center stage during the highly anticipated DC FanDome online convention, and it is expected that a new trailer and several tidbits about the new version will be revealed by the visionary director himself. Given that's the case, Snyder is hard at work when it comes to providing fans with new teases ahead of the virtual affair.

Snyder previously revealed an official clip from the film which showed Henry Cavill's Superman in the iconic Black Suit from the comics. The director also revealed a sneak peek of his version of Steppenwolf, which is entirely different from the design that was shown during the theatrical cut. Not only that, a short glimpse of the much-anticipated trailer was also shared by Snyder, which features his version of the battle between Superman and the rest of the Justice League.

Now, a brand new tease from Snyder has surfaced and it highlights another familiar character.

Snyder has been vocal about Cyborg's role in his cut of Justice League , with him even sharing that the character is the "heart" of the movie. With that in mind, it seems that fans will learn more about the character by the time Zack Snyder's Justice League arrives next year on HBO Max.

The new image shared by Snyder could hint that a proper origin story for Victor Stone is in place. This means that the Snyder Cut will eventually chronicle the character's journey from a star football player to being created as Cyborg. In many ways, the Snyder Cut will look to provide Cyborg a more captivating arc unlike what was shown during the theatrical cut of the film.

Interestingly, a previously-leaked VFX reel already showed the deleted football scene of Cyborg based on what Snyder shot from his original production, but it has since been deleted. Still, a proper look at the character's journey has been long overdue, and the Snyder Cut is the perfect avenue to feature it.

With a trailer confirmed to arrive during DC FanDome, there's a chance that a glimpse of the pre-Cyborg days of Victor could ultimately be featured, much to the delight of many fans.
