The Book of Boba Fett is the next entry in the expansive Star Wars universe on Disney+, and it is set to push Temeura Morrison's titular character into the forefront.
The upcoming Star Wars series is executive produced by The Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau and producer Dave Filoni. In addition, several directors of the Pedro Pascal-led series are also expected to return such as Robert Rodriguez, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Filoni himself.
Plot details of the show are still shrouded in secrecy, but it has been confirmed to follow the events of The Mandalorian Season 2. During the tail-end of the aforementioned series, Boba Fett took over Jabba The Hutt's territory in Tatooine.
As the Star Wars series' premiere inches closer, marketing has ramped up. Now, the first look at Fett and Shand's galactic adventure has been revealed.

Boba Fett's Tatooine Takeover
The Book of Boba Fett is primed to give fans a unique Star Wars experience, and the first trailer provided a glimpse of how the series will hammer that point home.
Based on what's been revealed, it appears that The Book of Boba Fett will likely showcase what transpired before the post-credits scene of The Mandalorian Season 2. This could also provide an explanation behind Fett's decision to rule with "respect" instead of "fear" during his takeover.
The Mandalorian managed to show that Fett is a man of his word, and it seems that this will continue in the show. The trailer features many sides of the underworld, such as peaceful meetings, betrayals, and thrilling encounters.
It appears that Fett and Shand will have their hands full when it comes to dealing with the remnants of Jabba's influence over Tatooine, and it will be up to them to uphold order during their takeover.
The Book of Boba Fett is also expected to showcase new creatures and aliens from the galaxy far, far, away. That said, there's also a chance that past characters from Star Wars lore could appear, especially considering a previous rumor that familiar bounty hunters like Cad Bane will be featured.
More details about The Book of Boba Fett will be revealed as the show's December release inches closer.
