DC FanDome has been taking the internet by storm after a plethora of heart-stopping reveals about the future of the franchise. The online convention already featured surprising pieces of content which include the Snyder Cut trailer, a look at the costume of Ezra Miller's Flash, and important tidbits about Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam.
Among all the projects, Matt Reeves' The Batman is poised to cap off the eight-hour supershow. Now, it seems that the trailer for much-anticipated film has leaked ahead of the its panel.
Ahead of The Batman's DC FanDome panel, it seems that the trailer of the much-anticipated film has leaked.
The Batman director Matt Reeves has previously revealed that he only shot 25% of footage before the corona-induced delay, but this leaked trailer shows off a promising first look at the new version of the Dark Knight.
The first footage from The Batman aligns with previous reveals about the film such as the noir and detective elements that will be present along with the idea of leaning towards the trauma of Bruce Wayne. The footage also managed to highlight iconic characters such as Jim Gordon and Catwoman.
One key interesting aspect of the trailer is Robert Pattinson's appearance in the Batsuit. While Reeves already revealed a sneak peek of the suit's comic-accurate details last February, the hero in action was not yet featured, until now. Pattinson's fighting style as the Batman was shown in all its menacing glory at the end of the trailer, ultimately capped off by a familiar dialogue from the comics.
Given that this is an early look at the film, it's a safe bet that changes will still be made. Regardless, The Batman is shaping up to be a unique take on the Dark Knight, and this trailer is a strong evidence of that.
