WHAT THIS MEANS
The game focuses on four villainous members of the Suicide Squad: Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and King Shark.
The trailer opens on daytime in Metropolis, which is under seige from an alien looking behemoth. Judging by the marking's on it's forehead, it could be Coluan in origin, which means it probably has something to do with key Superman rogue, Brainiac.
We hear Amanda Waller bark orders at Harley over comms as she instructs the villain to get on site in Metropolis as it begins to become overrun with armed thugs. Eventually, we're also introduced to Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot and Digger Harkness, aka Captain Boomerang as well as King Shark.
It isn't long until chaos breaks loose and Superman arrives on the scene. This Superman has evidently gone rogue however, as he uses his heat vision to disintegrate one of the armed goons.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is meant to be set in the universe of the Batman Arkham series, according to the folks at Rocksteady Studios. The Arkham series is obviously well-loved by fans, so time will tell if this new installment in the Arkham universe will live up to expectations.
The game will release on consoles in 2022.
