Marvel Studios is quickly finding a great deal of success through its Phase 4 Disney+ exclusives, which are already ranking as some of the most-watched programs in the streaming networks' short history. Loki is making waves after only two episodes following an impressive run for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in March and April 2021.

Of course, this all kicked off with the wacky and wild story of WandaVision in January, which brought MCU regulars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany into likely the MCU's most ambitious project to date. With a full-blown tribute to the history of American sitcoms housing a story filled with magic and grief coming together in harmony, Phase 4 found a way to deliver a brilliant adventure through the self-proclaimed "unusual couple."

Although Marvel fans have made their voices heard in terms of the successes from this series, Marvel and Disney are shooting for the stars in the coming months...

THE MCU'S FIRST EMMYS COMING?

Through the first 13 years of the MCU's history, movies from the Infinity Saga were nominated for 19 different Academy Awards, although Phase 4 has a chance to add to that number. Three of those nominations resulted in wins in the categories of Costume Design, Original Score, and Production Design for 2018's Black Panther.

Now that Marvel Studios has expanded into streaming TV shows, the time has come to test the waters in a new arena of awards as well. This comes after the limited series took home multiple awards at the 2021 MTV Awards, led by Elizabeth Olsen and Kathryn Hahn

While the official nominations for these awards likely won't come for a few more weeks, Marvel fans are already building up hype for WandaVision's potential at television's biggest awards outing. Considering how popular the series is even long after its Disney+ run concluded, there's certainly a chance the MCU's 24th outing could earn some impressive hardware.

With outstanding performances from the two leads along with excellent supporting roles played by stars like Kathryn Hahn and Evan Peters, Marvel's first attempt at long-form storytelling earned rave reviews across the board. Now comes the wait to find out which of these individuals will officially earn awards nominations and eventually take home golden trophies.

All nine episodes of WandaVision are available to stream on Disney+.
