The turbulent rollercoaster that is the release date for Wonder Woman 1984 is getting wilder. The movie was first planned to release on December 13, 2019 before being being moved up one month. It was then delayed to June 5, 2020, but with the coronavirus spreading, the movie was forced to be delayed again to August 14, 2020. However, this date didn't stick, either.
Finally, what was thought to be the last date movie, it was announced that WW84 would be pushed back to October 1st, 2020. But, a new report about it being delayed in one country, like the virus, could spread to others.
WHAT THIS MEANS
It is unknown if this delay will affect other countries, but considering that Brazil has been struggling quite a bit with dealing with the coronavirus, it isn't surprising that it was delayed there. So, it being delayed in other international countries like Europe seems less likely, but, considering how other countries have been handling the virus, like India and Russia, there's a chance it could be delayed there too.
Fans might receive an update on a more definitive release date for Wonder Woman 1984 at FanDome, but, considering that these panels were pre-recorded, it's doubtful that Warner Bros. would commit to any announcements for dates within this year.
