Spoiler Warning: This article may reveal plot details about The Eternals.
Every new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie release comes with a slew of merchandising and promotional material before it hits theaters. These products are usually along the lines of anything from clothing items to collectible figurines and more, and they always have a way of riling up conversations about the MCU's biggest upcoming projects.
Even while Marvel Studios waits to restart production on a number of their upcoming projects for Phase 4, merchandising companies are still in full swing working on items for fans to purchase. One of the most popular of these items is Funko Pops, which often give fans a subtle glimpse into any of the upcoming movies' plots with different looks at the main characters. A new leak of some upcoming Funko Pop releases has just arrived, and it is sure to start some discussions about one of the MCU's most anticipated films, The Eternals.

A release from Twitter user @BeingMutant18 has just shed some light on five potential Funko Pops set to debut with the release of Marvel Studios' The Eternals. These include a new look at the deviant Kro, Thena with an unspecified weapon, Sprite going through a transformation, Ikaris in a London outfit, and Sersi in a Druig compound outfit.
WHAT THIS MEANS
Some of these descriptions are harder to analyze than others, which lines up very well with Marvel Studios' figurines being either deception or an incredibly vague tease. This list also lines up with the first leak of figurines that surfaced on Twitter back in early April, detailed thoroughly by The Direct's Liam Crowley.
Both Arishem and Kro are mentioned once again, two characters who have not been discussed by any of the films' cast or crew but could prove useful to helping expand on the Eternals' dealings with both the Deviants and the Celestials.
Angelina Jolie's Thena is mentioned as wielding an unspecified weapon, which should have fans excited to see her charging into battle over the course of the movie.
Richard Madden's Ikaris is also teased to be wearing some kind of London outfit, which is especially exciting since it is still unknown where exactly the Eternals call home on Earth and shows that they will most likely end up all over the world through their adventures together.
Lia McHugh's Sprite will be going through some kind of transformation in her Pop, which lines up well with her powerset from the comics being able to change the molecular structure of any object available.
The last Funko Pop details Sersi in a different kind of outfit, specifically mentioning "Druig compound." While it's hard to decipher what exactly this could mean in regards to the film's plot, Gemma Chan's Sersi and Barry Koeghan's Druid have been interlocked together through all of the casting announcements and chatter about the film thus far. They seem to have an important connection to each other and it will be interesting to see exactly how that fleshes out in the movie.
The Eternals has completed filming and is currently in remote post-production in preparation for global release on February 12, 2021.
