After multiple COVID-19-caused production delays, Eternals is finally poised to take over the big screen in November 2021.

Directed by Chloé Zhao, the upcoming MCU project boasts a stellar cast that includes the likes of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, and Kumail Nanjiani. Eternals will follow the story of a group of cosmic-powered immortals created by the Celestials who have been living on Earth for thousands of years.

In the past weeks, marketing has been ramping up. One of the prominent cast members who has been featured in promotional materials is Angelina Jolie's Thena

Jolie described Thena as someone who could "manifest weapons in [her] hands," and this ability has been pushed to the forefront in several Eternals trailers and promos. Marvel also confirmed that Thena is part of the Eternals' group of "strongest fighters," cementing her place as one of the MCU's most formidable heavy-hitters.

Now, viewers are being treated to new footage of Jolie's Marvel hero in action.

Meanwhile, a new clip was also unveiled for the Chloé Zhao-directed Marvel film, giving fans a sneak peek at the modern-day life of Kumail Nanjiani's Kingo:

The clip shows Kingo working as an actor on a Bollywood set, which then features the arrival of Richard Madden's Ikaris, Gemma Chan's Sersi, and Lia McHugh's Sprite. The trio appears to be recruiting Kingo to reunite with the rest of the Eternals to fight against the Deviants.

Thena Prominently Featured in Eternals' Marketing

The continued presence of Angelina Jolie's Thena throughout Eternals' marketing could further cement the idea that her role will be vital in the movie.

Thena's sheer determination in bringing the fight to the Deviants could potentially lead to the Eternals' downfall. While the teaser above didn't fully show what happened between Thena and Kro, the main trailer already confirmed that the Deviant leader successfully took the cosmic fighter captive.

The meaning behind Thena's white eyes is unknown, but it could hint that Kro could've taken control of her in some way. Given that Thena is the team's best fighter, this could mean that the Eternals would need to fight one of their own to get her back.

On a separate note, the clip involving Kingo shows the character's glamorous life when he is not fighting the Deviants. Kingo's hesitancy to Ikaris' request to reunite shows that he is at peace with his modern-day life, which could be a running conflict throughout the film's storyline.

It's possible that Kingo will not be the only Eternal who will be hesitant to bring the band back together, leading to disarray among team members.

Eternals premieres in theaters on November 5, 2021.
