Disney+ is enjoying a major resurgence for Marvel fans on multiple levels. Most recently, the service began hosting multiple Marvel TV series that originally streamed on Netflix such as Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Jon Bernthal's The Punisher. And the MCU's story is set to continue on Disney+ with Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight kicking off the 2022 Phase 4 slate.

Although Isaac's Moon Knight will eventually find himself embedded in the larger MCU, the series has largely been promoted as one that stands on its own for now.

That isn't to say the show is completely devoid of connections to the Marvel Studios story, as fans recently saw an Easter egg that tied back to 2021's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in new footage. There are even rumors about the series featuring Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, although that inclusion likely won't be confirmed until much later in the plot.

No matter when Marc Spector finds himself alongside other powerful MCU heroes, theories and ideas are already teasing that future even before Isaac's solo series arrives in full. Now, Isaac himself is tackling that idea with his own wishes for whom he'd like to appear alongside in the MCU.

Reddit user u/henok-getachew translated an interview with Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac, posted online by Twitter user @MCUgeekthe.

When asked which Avengers characters Isaac would like to see Moon Knight team up with, Isaac admitted he'd like to see his character with the Midnight Suns rather than Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Specifically, Isaac teased a "very interesting group" of characters such as Punisher, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and Blade:

Interviewer: My last question: I'd like to see Moon Knight with two other Avengers characters. Which two characters would you like to have as teammates

Isaac: The truth, for me, more than the Avengers, is the Midnight Sons. Imagine, with Punisher, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Blade... I think that would be a very interesting group.

Moon Knight Meets Punisher & Daredevil?

Disney+'s recent inclusion of the formerly Netflix-owned Marvel shows has already kick-started theories about how characters from those stories could come into the MCU. Particularly after Charlie Cox (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Vincent D'Onofrio (Hawkeye) revisited their Daredevil characters, even more crossovers could be on the way.

This isn't the first time Isaac has tackled the idea of an Avengers-level meeting for Moon Knight, even though it's one that may not happen for some time.

Charlie Cox is rumored to reprise his role as Daredevil in the upcoming She-Hulk series, while there are no signs pointing to if or when Jon Bernthal's Punisher will officially become MCU canon. This is certainly a possibility now that Marvel Studios has the rights to all of these heroes, but outside their shows being on Disney+, there are no plans set in stone for any of the characters.

Should these characters come in, Marvel at least has the idea on the table to bring them together into a live-action iteration of the Midnight Suns, a team that classically features Moon Knight.

Having recently changed the name from the Midnight Sons to the Midnight Suns, Marvel is utilizing this group more often in multiple media forms, which could lead to an introduction in the MCU. This group focuses on more supernatural threats, which could bring in Blade and Ghost Rider at some point, although fans would welcome them as one of the franchise's darker superhero teams.

Fans will have to wait to see if any other MCU characters find their way into Moon Knight, which begins streaming on Disney+ on March 30.
