After years of delays, rewrites, and director changes, Andy Muschietti's The Flash starring Ezra Miller will finally hit theaters in November 2022. The live-action Flashpoint adaptation will feature the return of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman alongside Sasha Calle's debut as Supergirl.

In the run-up to the highly-anticipated DC FanDome 2021, fans have been speculating as to which projects will be previewed at the event as the comic publisher shows off everything it has to offer including films, shows, games, and comics.

While no full trailer was revealed for The Flash, attendees were treated to a new look at the film with a brief teaser.

DC FanDome Reveals New Look at The Flash

During 2021's DC FanDome event, Warner Bros. officially revealed a brief teaser Ezra Miller's The Flash with multiple Barry Allen's, Sasha Calle's Supergirl, and a brief peek at Michael Keaton's Batman.

Just as he did within the original Flashpoint storyline, the teaser seemed to hint towards Barry Allen's trip back to his childhood home to save his mother's life.

In a first for the DCEU, Barry Allen will finally don a Flash suit ring for the movie allowing him to apply his superhero attire at a moment's notice.

With much of the teaser taking place in Michael Keaton's Batcave, Ezra Miller's new speedster suit can be seen in front of the Dark Knight's iconic waterfall.

With production still ongoing in the U.K., the footage included in the teaser is obviously limited, but it's exciting to see a brief look at what The Flash is all about.

The Flash's Surprising First Look

Earlier in the year, footage leaked online of a behind-the-scenes featurette for The Flash featuring new concept art, interviews, and more. Naturally, most assumed this clip would be released during DC FanDome, however, Warner Bros. shocked fans with a brief teaser trailer meaning shooting on the speedster flick is probably going faster than expected.

Just like the Flashpoint storyline that inspired The Flash, it seems Barry Allen will use his speed to time travel back in time and save his mother's life. Barry's actions look to have caused some major issues as two versions of Ezra Miller's hero are seen alongside Sasha Calle's Supergirl as they approach Keaton's Batman for help dealing.

The reveal of a second Barry Allen supports a previous exclusive report from The Direct which revealed an alternate version of Miller's speedster would serve as the main villain of the flick. With no sign of Reverse-Flash yet, perhaps this “Dark Flash” may fill in for Eobard Thawne within the Flashpoint adaptation.

As has previously been reported, this first look certainly seems to indicate Batman will play a key role in The Flash. Much of the footage revealed takes place at Wayne Manor and the clip even ends off with a tease towards the Batmobile. Unfortunately, Ben Affleck's Dark Knight was completely absent from the teaser with Michael Keaton's interpretation seemingly being the key focus.

With The Flash still over a year away, this brief teaser will probably be the last look at the film for some time until a full trailer arrives around the middle of next year before the movie hits theaters on November 4, 2022.
