Warner Bros. is currently hard at work preparing its slate of releases next year within the DC Extended Universe after coming in with a wild ride in 2021's The Suicide Squad from James Gunn. Now, the stage is set for the long-standing franchise to expand to greater levels of insanity with four entries in 2022, including two brand-new solo stories and two anticipated sequels.
To help promote all of the theatrical movies, along with the massive slate of projects coming to TV, Warner Bros. created its own virtual fan event in 2020 with DC FanDome, which ran in late August and early September. The online event featured panel videos with dozens of cast and crew members from upcoming DC projects, serving as a semi-replacement for Comic-Con in the heart of the pandemic.
With the entertainment industry still working its way back to normal, fans are wondering just how studios like Warner Bros. will bring fan events like DC FanDome to the general public. Now, one of those answers is here thanks to a new poster that's surfaced online.
DC FANDOME MAKING ITS RETURN
The DC FanDome website released the official poster for its second annual event, which will take place on October 16, 2021. The poster features dozens of DC's biggest characters and actors, including Robert Pattinson's Batman, Ezra Miller's Flash, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, John Cena's Peacemaker, Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam and many more.
The poster also promotes future movies and TV shows like Peacemaker and Titans on HBO Max, along with theatrical releases like DC League of Super-Pets and Shazam!: Fury of the Gods, which will be coming soon.
A promotional video for the virtual event was also released, highlighting the DC movies, shows, and video games that will soon be showcased:

DC PREPPING FOR A BIG EVENT
DC FanDome 2020 turned out to be a wildly successful event, attaining 22 million viewers in the span of only 24 hours last summer. Even with an unexpected server crash that limited viewership, the potential was there to have quite the big turnout if the conditions were all correct.
Not only did DC FanDome bring news about everything the DCEU had to offer in the coming months and years, but it also updated fans on DC's widely popular TV shows from both the Arrowverse and HBO Max, as well. The event even provided the first full look at DC's upcoming animated feature League of Super-Pets, featuring major stars Dwayne Johnson and Keanu Reeves.
With filming having completed either most or all of the way for numerous DC projects, fans are hoping this year comes with a deeper look into the movies and TV series that will be coming in the near future. Attendance should have a strong chance to see a big spike this year with so much on the way in a short time, and DC is certainly hoping for considerable hype to build for the upcoming slate.
DC FanDome is set to take place on October 16, 2021.
