Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam has been in development for years now, but the fact that the film is currently in production presents a good sign for fans. The upcoming DCEU movie will showcase Johnson's powerful anti-hero alongside the big-screen debut of Justice Society of America members like Cyclone and Hawkman.
Plot details remain unknown, but Johnson did reveal during DC FanDome that the arrival of Teth Adam will change the “hierarchy of power” in the DC universe. It is currently unknown how it will happen, but this spells trouble for the Justice League and Justice Society.
Black Adam will feature a star-studded cast, with the likes of Pierce Brosnan's Dr. Fate, Noah Centineo's Atom Smasher, and Aldis Hodge's Hawkman joining the fold. All signs point to the idea that Black Adam is an anti-hero in his solo film, meaning that a clash between him and the rest of the JSA is imminent.
Production is currently ongoing for Black Adam, and Johnson's latest tease could dial more hype for the film.
DWAYNE JOHNSON TEASES BLACK ADAM COSTUME
Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson shared a life update about his “weekly board meeting” for ZOA Energy on Instagram. The interesting part of the post is a Black Adam-related tease, giving fans a first yet tiny look at the costume of the villain for the upcoming DCEU film:
"...You’ll see a small piece of my GOLD BLACK ADAM️ peeking out from under my black cloak of secrecy (my weekly board meetings all take place during my 30min breaks from shooting Black Adam)"

BLACK ADAM'S COMIC-ACCURATE COSTUME
Concept art for Black Adam revealed that Dwayne Johnson will wear a comic-accurate costume for the film. While this tease might be a very small glimpse, this image further solidified that the DCEU hero will pay tribute to the pages of DC Comics.
From the get-go, Johnson has been at the forefront of Black Adam's marketing, and the actor managed to elevate anticipation with every post and tease on social media. It's only a matter of time before an official reveal of the full costume will arrive, and it's safe to say that the WWE legend will do the honors in presenting it to fans.
With filming underway, it's quite intriguing that set photos showing Johnson wearing the costume haven't leaked yet. Based on what's been revealed in the past weeks, only special looks at an Egyptian tomb location and minor teases from the cast's arrival on set have emerged.
This goes to show the secrecy surrounding Black Adam. This is on top of the health protocols that are being enforced on set.
It will be interesting if more set photos will surface in the coming weeks as filming for Black Adam goes deep into its core storyline. For now, fans can only look at the “small piece” of the anti-hero's costume before its eventual arrival down the line.
