WHAT THIS MEANS

Reports previously came in revealing that most of the high school cast of both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home would be returning for a third run together, and this new post seems to push that closer to a confirmation. After Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Zendaya’s MJ became a couple by the end of their last movie together, fans are excited to see how their relationship grows and evolves, especially considering how much trouble Peter is in by the end of the Infinity Saga.

It’s still unclear exactly what kind of role MJ will play in Spider-Man 3 , especially with so much firepower surrounding her and her superhero boyfriend. Spidey will be teaming up with Doctor Stephen Strange as they face Jamie Foxx’s Electro , along with likely multiple other villains, as signs point to this third solo film taking the magical baton from WandaVision and diving into the deep end of the MCU multiverse.

The untitled Spider-Man 3 is set to begin production likely within the next few weeks after the arrivals of Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya in Atlanta. The Sony and Marvel produced feature has a planned release date in theaters on December 17, 2021.
