Marvel Studios is slowly ramping back up to restart filming for multiple major projects after an over five-month hiatus. The comic book movie mogul has three new movies and at least three new shows planned for release on Disney+ within the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021, with a couple of them already close to completion.
In the spirit of these filming restarts, one of the MCU's OG stars has just given a sneak peek into his very first headlining experience with the ever-expansive franchise.

In a new post on his personal Instagram account , The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan shared a behind-the-scenes look into his experience shooting the debut MCU mini-series.
Stan has an intense look on his face that he's mastered over the years with a camera mere inches away from him, all decked out in his classic Bucky Barnes dogtags as well. The image, complete with the caption "Once upon a time...in 2019" can be seen in full below:
WHAT THIS MEANS
Considering the caption Stan included with his post, it seems that this photo was taken during the show's original filming run last year, but this could very well be teasing things to come, too. Reports have said that the show has less than two weeks of shooting remaining , with others saying that those couple of weeks would occur sometime next month. This could be his way of getting back into the Winter Soldier spirit as things pick up again.
Sebastian Stan will be taking part in his seventh MCU project (along with his post-credits cameos in Ant-Man and Black Panther ), with the new Disney+ series being his first starring appearance alongside Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon. The two will team up once again in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame on a global manhunt for Daniel Brühl's Helmut Zemo, and the rumors concerning what will happen in the six-episode mini-series already have fans hungry for more.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is close to completion and is now seemingly set for release on Disney+ sometime in 2021.
