Spider-Man: No Way Home featured many memorable returns, but many would agree that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's arrival tops the list. The two actors previously portrayed Spider-Man in their respective franchises, namely Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb's pair of The Amazing Spider-Man movies. The duo starred alongside Tom Holland, who plays the MCU's web-slinger.
In the months leading to the threequel's premiere, Garfield and Maguire's inclusion had been the main subject of discussion among Marvel fans. This was due to the emergence of leaked set photos and a plethora of rumors about their roles in No Way Home, thus boosting the hype for the movie.
The anticipation was further amplified when Holland addressed the pair's involvement in several interviews, with the actor giving conflicting answers while also flat out denying their appearances. Garfield also chimed in on the fun by addressing the multitude of rumors of his Spider-Man's return, leaving fans to believe that he would indeed appear in the movie.
Despite the continued denials, the rumors eventually turned to confirmation when No Way Home premiered. The MCU threequel showcased Maguire and Garfield in a rare team-up with Holland's webcrawler, thus earning an overwhelmingly positive reception from fans and critics.
Now, as the film is slowly climbing its way to the top of the box office ranks, official images of the three Spider-Men have arrived.

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have yet to officially include Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in any form of marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home ever since the film premiered. This is understandable since the pair's appearance serves as an element of surprise for the movie.
While this latest reveal is not officially part of No Way Home's promotional push under Sony's marketing team, it's still worth noting that this marks the first time that official stills of Garfield and Maguire have been released to the public.
Seeing the three Spider-Men together in one frame gives a sense of nostalgia. Fans can relive it by taking a peek at these high-quality images once again before the film's eventual digital release on February 28, 2022.
No Way Home's final battle was filled with memorable moments, ranging from hilarious dialogue to action-packed sequences among the Spider-Men. However, many would agree that the three Spider-Men swinging together was the best one yet, mainly because it was a rare opportunity to see them together in one continued sequence.
It remains to be seen if Garfield and Maguire's appearance in No Way Home served as the pair's last Spider-Man adventure. Garfield previously addressed the possibility of making another movie with Maguire and Holland in the future, saying that he would be open to reprising his role again if given a chance.
Whatever the case, No Way Home has already fulfilled fans' hopes by bringing the trio together.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in theaters worldwide.
