Spider-Man: No Way Home made its highly-anticipated debut in theaters in December 2021, and it's still the blockbuster movie event that has the entire MCU fandom talking nearly every day. Thanks to Tom Holland's team-up efforts with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire along with five of their villains, the threequel is now arguably Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' biggest success to date.

After spending the better part of six months denying any involvement with the film at all, Garfield recently opened up on just how special it was to suit up as his Amazing Spider-Man in the MCU following a seven-year hiatus from the role. From sharing an iconic line that he improvised on set to touching on his emotional scene with Zendaya's MJ, the veteran superhero actor was overjoyed to finally come clean about this film.

Now that No Way Home brought all three Spider-Men together for a moment never before seen in any live-action superhero movie, fans are curious whether Sony and Marvel will revisit this combination in any future web-slinger outings. Thankfully, Garfield is all in on the idea if it does come back into play down the road.

During an interview with The Happy Sad Confused podcast, Spider-Man: No Way Home star Andrew Garfield expressed an interest in reuniting with Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland in a Marvel project.

Looking back on their time together in the Spidey threequel, Garfield described the trio's "three-brother dynamic" as "juicy" and shared that he'd love to work with both stars again if given the opportunity. He also touched on wanting to "savor the moment with the fans" for the time being and reaffirmed how "humbled and grateful" he is for how fans have responded to the movie:

"And also, I would love to continue working with Tobey and with Tom. I think that kind of three-brother dynamic is so juicy. To be honest, man, I’m gonna just honestly say I’m so happy and satisfied and grateful to be a part of this. It’s hard to want more right now. I’m really just kind of trying to savor this moment with the fans and with the audience and just kind of say thank you. I just feel very humbled and grateful for the response."

Another Garfield/Maguire Team-Up in the Cards?

Although Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield have embodied the Peter Parker and Spider-Man role for the past two decades, No Way Home marked the first time they had all worked together in any project. The fact that all three of them played Spider-Man together in this movie made it even more special as they made what was thought to be an impossible movie one of the biggest outings ever delivered.

While their chemistry on-screen was evident, it's clear that the three web-slinger stars formed a bond off-camera as well through their experiences playing this widely-popular hero. Garfield even shared that he snuck into a Spider-Man: No Way Home screening with Maguire to get the full experience of what Marvel and Sony added to the MCU on opening night.

The big question now is whether Sony and Marvel want to make this team-up a one-time thing or go down the triple Spidey road again in future outings.

Fans are already building massive online campaigns for Sony to bring Garfield back for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and to make Spider-Man 4 with Maguire, and there are even theories pointing to Garfield being the Spider-Man of the Venom universe. Whether this all comes together again is a mystery, but even if it doesn't, the fact that it happened in No Way Home is a cinematic feat in and of itself.
