Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are finally diving into the deep end with the long-awaited theatrical release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the MCU's last of four films in 2021. Coming after more than a year of wild teases that had the MCU fandom wondering what was real and what was fake, No Way Home became as "must-see" of an event as any outing in recent memory.

That "must-see" status wound up with Marvel and Sony earning huge dividends over No Way Home's opening weekend, which only looks to continue as 2021 comes to a close. The threequel already claimed the second-highest opening weekend box-office return in cinematic history, only trailing that of Avengers: Endgame, and when all is said and done, it could become the first billion-dollar blockbuster of the post-pandemic era.

To celebrate this release, Marvel and Sony are sharing exciting new imagery for fans to ogle over, which first came with detailed looks at villains like the Green Goblin, Electro, and the Lizard. Now, an exciting update has come to Marvel's official online hub that celebrates the arrival of more A+-list players into the No Way Home narrative.

Marvel updated its official website to include character pages for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parkers/Spider-Men after their MCU debuts in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Maguire's hero came with the title of "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" as he joined the MCU following Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. His page also includes the following description:

"Our friendly neighborhood hero swings into the MCU in his iconic suit."

Garfield's Peter Parker comes under the title that was used for both of his solo movies, "The Amazing Spider-Man," as he comes in alongside Maguire to sling some webs alongside his Spidey partners:

Of all the rumors and leaks that came from the set and production of Spider-Man: No Way Home, none brought the excitement of Maguire and Garfield's potential comebacks as their respective Spider-Man. Not only did they come back, but both heroes also had a profound impact on the threequel's story as they delivered on arguably the most hyped solo team-up effort in MCU history.

Now, Marvel is celebrating these returns by officially including the two wall-crawlers in its online look back at the MCU, even giving them their own unique titles as the friendly and amazing Spider-Men. Their interactions with the MCU's Spidey, MJ, Ned, and Doctor Strange instantly became iconic moments in the franchise's long history, particularly as the three webheads worked through their differences and became a unit.

Whether Maguire and Garfield's appearances in the MCU are a one-time thing, they played a part in delivering arguably the most hyped solo superhero movie in history, which is already exceeding the hype. Now, when fans visit the official Marvel site looking for Spider-Man info, these two are etched into the MCU legacy for all to enjoy.
