MCU fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, a Phase 4 movie that's built levels of hype unlike almost anything the franchise has seen. With confirmed appearances for five villains from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's solo movies, along with rumors of Maguire and Garfield themselves appearing, anticipation is now at a full-blown fever pitch.

No Way Home has the unique opportunity to bring together stories from three separate universes, meaning some fans have spent time watching through many a Spider-Man movie in preparation. Not only will Garfield and Maguire's villains play a pivotal role alongside Holland's web-slinger, but Sony's two Venom movies are now confirmed to join the fray too after Let There Be Carnage's post-credits sequence.

Even for the popularity that Spider-Man boasts on a regular basis from his long comic and movie history, No Way Home's debut is bringing the character's on-screen legacy into prominence once again. This is leading to a major uptick in viewing numbers for nearly a dozen movies that play a role in the web-slinger's big-screen history.

Ten Spider-Man movies have now climbed towards the top of Google & YouTube's Best Selling Movies & Shows list thanks to the anticipation surrounding No Way Home's release this week.

At the top of the list is 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage, with both of Tom Holland's solo MCU Spider-Man outings following closely in the top 10. Both of Andrew Garfield's Spidey movies come next in the list at 11 and 12 while the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Venom, and all three of Tobey Maguire's solo films come in between 15 and 30.

Here's how the Spidey movies currently rank on the Top-Selling list:

1.) Venom: Let There Be Carnage
2.) Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas
3.) Dune
4.) Spider-Man: Far From Home
5.) Illumination Presents: Dr. Seuss' The Grinch
6.) No Time To Die

Fans Gearing Up for No Way Home

Although it's clear that Spider-Man is continuing his impressive run at the top of pop culture popularity thanks to No Way Home, it appears that fans are fully diving into all things Peter Parker before this blockbuster outing.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage recently became available for home viewing, which makes its place at the top of this list track well, particularly looking at how the post-credits scene threw Tom Hardy's anti-hero firmly into the MCU. The same can be said about Tom Holland's first two MCU solo movies, which both set up the young her for what he's about to go through in his threequel.

Garfield and Maguire's quintet of solo movies will all play vital roles in No Way Home's story as well, which each of them bringing in a villain for Tom Holland's hero to face, possibly alongside his two Spidey predecessors. Although Into the Spider-Verse and Venom don't play as directly connected of a part, they will still have an impact on what fans will see in the MCU's final 2021 movie.

This list not only shows how extensive Spider-Man's movie history is, but it also indicates just how invested the MCU fanbase is in what the franchise is about to deliver in No Way Home. How long these movies remain this high on Google and YouTube's list is a mystery, although it's no mystery at all how long Spidey will remain in the spotlight.
