Hopefully, Chris Hemsworth is taking precautions in gaining so much muscle in a short amount of time, not to mention retaining it for the entire shoot, which will start in January . Hemsworth certainly looks like the biggest he has ever been in his appearances as the God of Thunder.
It will be interesting to see how Taika Waititi shows Thor losing his excess weight in Thor: Love and Thunder , whether it's done off screen or through a montage in Peter Quill's fruitless attempt at competing with him. This will likely be the latter, due to previous jokes aimed at Quill by the rest of the Guardians for his weight in Avengers: Infinity War , especially when compared to Thor.
