With the WandaVision finale in the rearview mirror and the premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier under two weeks away, Marvel Studios has begun to ramp up the marketing campaign for its next series .
In many ways, the series will act as a sequel to Chris Evans' Captain America trilogy with Steve Rogers' sidekicks Falcon and Winter Soldier taking the lead for the first time .
With Evans' time in the MCU seemingly behind him, it still seems that even after his retirement the actor will continue to be referenced going forward, as has been shown in the latest teaser for the series.
CAPTAIN AMERICA FREEDOM
Marvel Studios released a new promo for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, teasing the upcoming series while referencing Chris Evans' Captain America with an iconic quote.

The new teaser largely highlights a series of old footage but is accompanied by a new quote from Sam Wilson saying: “A good friend of mine once said: 'The price of freedom is high.'”
This is a quote previously spoken by Chris Evans' Captain America in the climactic moments of Captain America: The Winter Soldier:
"Attention all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was. It has been taken over by HYDRA.
Alexander Pierce is their leader. The S.T.R.I.K.E. and Insight crew are HYDRA as well.
We don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury, and it won't end there.
If you launch those helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. They must be stopped. I know I'm asking a lot.
The price of freedom is high; it always has been. But it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not."
A TRIBUTE TO THE CAPTAIN
Several of the clips previously released from the upcoming Disney+ series have seemingly revealed a look at some kind of military memorial.
With the iconic Avenger having been aged up in the concluding moments of Avengers: Endgame , many have speculated this may act as a funeral scene for the hero . A tribute in the opening of Spider-Man: Far From Home listed Steve Rogers as a fallen hero of the battle against Thanos, indicating the hero is dead — at least in the eyes of the public.
Rumors recently suggested Chris Evans could be looking to return to the MCU in a future project , but it's unclear if there is any fuel to that fire.
Using such a famous quote from the Marvel hero could make for a fitting tribute for Sam Wilson to read during a funeral scene. It's equally possible this is simply Wilson quoting the Captain with a famous quote at an unrelated point of the series, but either way, it won't be long until fans get their answers.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premier its debut episode on March 19, exclusively on Disney+.
