Tom Hiddleston Reportedly Getting Married to Captain Marvel 2 Star

Tom Hiddleston has been an MCU veteran for 11 years, after starting his journey as Loki during 2011's Thor. While fans are busy discussing his Marvel career, other topics such as his dating life have made headlines over the years. From Taylor Swift to Jessica Chastain, Hiddleston has a long list of celebrities in his dating history. 

In 2020, it was reported that Hiddleston is romantically connected with actress Zawe Ashton, although reports suggest that the pair prefers to stay quiet about their relationship. Now, an exciting development about the couple has been revealed. 

Tom Hiddleston Engaged to Zawe Ashton

Mirror Online shared that Loki star Tom Hiddleson will tie the knot soon with his partner, The Marvels actress Zawe Ashton. 

Hiddleston and Ashton, who co-starred as husband and wife in the West End production of Betrayal in London in 2019, were reported to have been congratulated by close friends from the industry on their engagement during the 2022 British Academy Television Awards on Sunday, March 13. This comes after Ashton was seen sporting a diamond ring to the event in London. 

Ashton was previously reported to play the main villain of The Marvels, but details about her role are still being kept under wraps. 

The actress' casting was later confirmed by Brie Larson, who shared photos of herself alongside Ashton that fueled speculation from fans. 

Ashton is best known for her work in movies like Wanderlust and Greta, and, most recently, the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale. 

A Blossoming Marvel Romance 

Tom Hiddleston previously noted that he didn't want to discuss his romantic relationships with the press, saying that "everyone is entitled to a private life." 

Despite that, the Marvel pair have been providing glimpses of their romance over the past two years, and this engagement appears to be the cherry on top. It is unknown though if they will publicly display their relationship, especially now that reports of them being engaged are making headlines. 

Still, Hiddleston and Ashton appear to favor a more low-key approach to their romance as they set off with their respective professional careers, which includes the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
