Thor: Love and Thunder is set to feature a grand reunion between Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster but in an unexpected way. Directed by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), the upcoming sequel will mark the MCU return of Portman's character as she embarks on a new heroic journey as Mighty Thor. The film will also showcase the first adventure of the God of Thunder in the post-Infinity Saga chapter of the MCU.
Marketing for Love and Thunder has yet to officially ramp up, but Hemsworth did previously confirm that the press tour had begun, indicating that more official looks at the film will start to emerge. However, in the past months, leaked merchandise and posters have given fans a sneak peek at the character's designs, specifically Thor and Foster's new looks.
Now while fans are anticipating the film's first trailer, another special look at the heroic pair has been revealed.

How Will Hemsworth's Thor React to Foster's Return?
At this point, it's safe to say that Thor and Mighty Thor will team up at some point in Love and Thunder, as evidenced by several promotional images from the film so far. The pair's new costumes are also highlighted in the poster, offering fans the best look at their stunning designs.
It is unknown if Love and Thunder will showcase Thor's transformation from Bro Thor to his normal self, especially considering this was an important part of the character's arc during Avengers: Endgame. Given that the Guardians of the Galaxy are involved, it's possible that a montage sequence of the character's training (in full hilarious fashion) would be featured, giving a resolution to Odinson's muscular transformation.
Upon closer inspection of the poster, the apparent cracks within Mjolnir once again confirm that this is the same weapon Thor used during the Infinity Saga and the one that Hela broke during Ragnarok. Still, it is a mystery how the iconic weapon will return, but signs point that it could be tied to Jane Foster's mysterious heroic transition.
Whatever the case, all will be revealed when Thor: Love and Thunder premieres in theaters on July 8.
