Thor 4: New Set Photos Show Chris Hemsworth's Jacked Marvel Hero In Workout Gear

The Marvel Cinematic Universe will set a franchise record next year with twelve unique projects releasing in theaters and on Disney+, including a number of anticipated sequels. One of these is Thor: Love and Thunder starring Chris Hemsworth who continues as one of the longest-standing members of the MCU after first debuting a full decade ago.

Hemsworth has typically been known for having one of the most impressive physiques of any leading man for Marvel Studios, which tracks well with him playing the literal God of Thunder. Rumors have even started about the actor being bigger in his next solo movie than he’s ever been before, which is a truly impressive feat, all things considered.

Set pictures have confirmed that Hemsworth is going all-in physically for his fourth solo movie, including the most recent leak.

Daily Mail revealed new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder featuring leading man Chris Hemsworth. The images showcase the MCU star in a workout outfit reminiscent of 1980s fashion, complete with both a headband and wristbands, looking muscular as usual.

The photos were taken on Thursday when the Marvel production was filming in Centennial Park in Sydney, Australia.

Twitter user @wiranura shared another image of Hemsworth in this outfit, this time alongside one of his twin sons:

HEMSWORTH REGAINING HIS GOD-LIKE FIGURE

Not only does Hemsworth truly rock a god-like figure, but he’s also dressed in the right attire to build on that physique even further.

Considering the actor is adorned in the long-haired wig he’s sported for all but one of his MCU appearances, it’s likely that this look is being put to screen in some way for the movie. This could be a way to give fans insight into how Thor gets back into his usual top physical form following his last team-up outing.

Avengers: Endgame saw the God of Thunder hit a low, falling into a deep depression after the first few moments of the 2019 blockbuster. This caused him to gain a substantial amount of weight, although he held his own well in both obtaining the Reality Stone and helping his teammates defeat Thanos in the final battle.

It’s obvious that this look will only be a one-time thing, especially with the challenges Thor will face in his ninth MCU movie. Fans are looking forward to seeing some of the work that Hemsworth’s leading man puts in to get back into shape, which should coincide with him coming into the movie in this outfit.

No matter what the details are, this workout look will be yet another addition to one of the wildest solo movies Marvel has planned for Phase 4. With Thor set to team up with Jane Foster, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and more, director Taika Waititi looks set to unleash everything in his arsenal to make the hero’s next adventure something truly epic.

Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming and will release in theaters on May 6, 2022.
