Thor: Love and Thunder is quickly ramping up its production, with a plethora of MCU actors returning for the God of Thunder's fourth solo outing.
However, looking at the cast, it is difficult to still call Love and Thunder a solo film after Chris Pratt announced that he would be reprising his role as Star-Lord . The fourth Thor film almost appears to be an Avengers 5 level of crossover, with other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy joining the cast such as Dave Bautista's Drax and Karen Gillan's Nebula .
Amongst these new additions, Thor's supporting cast are still getting their fair share of attention in Love and Thunder . Tessa Thompson talked about the health protocols being employed by Marvel Studios, in addition to the training requirements for her role as Valkyrie. After her absence from Thor: Ragnaro k , Jaimie Alexander teased her making potential appearances in the upcoming Thor film and the Loki series for Disney+, which was recently reported by Deadline .
A new post from one of the film's crew members could suggest that Jane Foster's appearance will match her comic book look in at least one aspect...

Luca Vannella, a hair stylist on Thor: Love and Thunder who has worked with Chris Hemsworth on past Marvel films like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok, recently shared a post to Instagram of him working on a blonde wig for the film. When responding to a user asking whether the hair belonged to the God of Thunder, Vannella said it is "not Thor’s wig!"
This suggests that the blonde wig in question could belong to Natalie Portman's Jane Foster.

WHAT THIS MEANS
With very few other MCU characters sporting long, golden locks in Thor: Love and Thunder, it is incredibly likely that this wig is for Jane Foster. Thor grew his hair out in Avengers: Endgame, but Love and Thunder 's working title being "The Big Salad" could suggest that he will go back to sporting a more muscular look reminiscent of Avengers: Infinity War, short hair and all.
Alternatively, the blonde hair could be for an on-screen version of the blonde-haired Brunhilde, who could potentially serve as a potential queen for Valkyrie. Taika Waititi is also known for his humor, so it may be tempting for him to give Peter Quill or Groot a completely new hairdo.
Jane Foster having blonde hair in the next Thor installment seems to suggest that she will have a design similar to her Mighty Thor look from the comics. It will be interesting to see what other aspects of her comic book costume carry over, including the silver helmet that masks her identity. While it may seem a bit peculiar for Jane Foster to go from brunette to blonde when assuming the Mighty Thor identity, much, much weirder things have happened in the MCU so far.
Jane Foster could indeed sport some blonde locks when Thor: Love and Thunder releases theatrically on May 6, 2022.
