The Mandalorian Season 2 finally brought the live-action debut of a widely popular character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels in the form of Ahsoka Tano. After being played by Ashley Eckstein for 12 long years in the animated branch of Star Wars, the fan-favorite character is now being portrayed by Rosario Dawson in The Mandalorian Season 2, and her arrival clearly didn't disappoint.

While it took several years for the grand live-action debut of Ahsoka, “Chapter 13” of The Mandalorian Season 2 didn't waste time in bringing the character at the forefront, showcasing the former Jedi during an early action-packed battle sequence. Based on that sequence alone, it was made clear that the character is very much at home in the live-action setting of the franchise.

Ahsoka's inclusion in the latest episode of Season 2 brought much-needed answers about the history of The Child while also giving clues about the character's post-The Mandalorian future. Now, a new promotional image offers a fascinating look at the live-action version of Ahsoka.

Disney+ officially unveiled a new character poster for The Mandalorian Season 2, showcasing Rosario Dawson as the fan-favorite Ahsoka Tano.

The poster features Dawson's fearless look as the former Jedi along with the shorter head tails of the character that was previously clarified by concept designer Bryan Matyas.

The poster provides a more detailed look at the live-action character design of Ahsoka while also giving fans something to tide over after Dawson's impressive debut.

Not much is known regarding when fans will see Ahsoka again after “Chapter 13” of The Mandalorian, but it's safe to say that the involvement of Dawson's version in the show and beyond is far from over. During the episode, it was revealed that Ahsoka is searching for Grand Admiral Thrawn, but the reason behind her pursuit is unknown. Given that it's unclear if “Chapter 13" happens before or after the epilogue from Rebels, the possibilities are endless.

If the latest episode of The Mandalorian happened before the last scene of Rebels, then “Chapter 13" would directly lead to the reunion of Ahsoka and Sabine, setting the stage for the duo's journey to the Unknown Regions to find Grand Admiral Thrawn and the long-lost Ezra Bridger. On the flip side, if “The Jedi” happened after the aforementioned scene from Rebels, then it doesn't bode well for Ahsoka's allies.

The former Jedi's search for Thrawn could potentially be for revenge or even a rescue mission to save both Ezra and Sabine after potentially being captured by the Chiss Imperial officer. If anything, this essentially paves the way for the narrative of the long-rumored Ahsoka Tano spinoff series.

Whatever the case, this new character poster should serve as a reminder of Ahsoka's impressive debut, hinting at the former Jedi's bright future in the live-action realm of Star Wars.
