The Mandalorian Season 2 is overflowing with guest stars, and the latest episode featured the biggest one yet in the form of Ahsoka Tano. After months of rumblings and speculations, the fan-favorite Togruta finally made her live-action debut during “Chapter 13" of The Mandalorian, portrayed by Rosario Dawson.
Ahsoka quickly made her presence felt in the aforementioned episode, showcasing heavy lightsaber action while catching up with viewers on what the character has been up to after the events of Star Wars Rebels. Not only that, but Ahsoka also delivered the much-needed answers about Baby Yoda, revealing the creature's backstory and actual name.
For fans who are unaware of the events of the animated realm of Star Wars, they are only witnessing Ahsoka's arrival for the first time. However, longtime fans of Star Wars are well aware of Ahsoka's impact in the larger narrative of the space epic, as she was heavily featured in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the aforementioned Rebels series. In those projects, Ahsoka was voiced by Ashley Eckstein, who already wrote a heartfelt tribute to the character in a lengthy Instagram post that moved fans everywhere.
And now, it appears that a fun interaction between the past and present versions of Ahsoka Tano has surfaced.

Ashley Eckstein and Rosario Dawson shared a fun exchange in the comments section of the latter's Instagram post about the legacy of Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars franchise. In the exchange, Dawson thanked Eckstein for her “brilliance” in bringing Ahsoka to life while the latter welcomed the former to “Team Tano.”
