The Flash has become quite a massive project. For one, it's set to be Barry Allen's first live-action solo film, with the speedster previously only appearing in the CW television show and Zack Snyder's Justice League.

For the character's first solo film, Warner Bros. is going above and beyond with the story set to adapt The Flashpoint Paradox.

The famous storyline involves plenty of timeline and multiverse shenanigans. This includes the return of Michael Keaton's Batman and even an alternate version of Barry Allen.

One of the biggest changes to the timeline is how Barry will witness the introduction of Sasha Calle's Supergirl, who may or may not be replacing Henry Cavil's role in the DCEU going forward.

This year's DC FanDome gave fans their first official footage of The Flash, which featured a surprise glimpse of Supergirl.

New Look at Sasha Calle's Supergirl

DC FanDome just released a brand new trailer for The Flash, and Sasha Calle's Supergirl made a surprise appearance.

Sasha Calle's Supergirl can be seen just behind Ezra Miller's Flash beside another version of that same speedster.

Calle can be seen in the same outfit that was revealed via the official poster, and what she wore in the leaked set photos earlier this year.

Supergirl Joins The Flash Squad

Calle's Supergirl has chosen quite an interesting group of teammates. Given she seems to be a chore part of this group that Barry has put together, it's a safe assumption that the character will be introduced early on in the film.

Flash has clearly made a mess, and fans are likely in for a lot of fun additions to the DCEU. After all, there's a copy of him standing to Supergirl's right––who might just be that rumored dark Barry Allen.

But what is this team's goal? Well, besides recruiting Michael Keaton's Batman by the looks of it, fixing the multiverse is probably at the top of their to-do list.

The Flash is set for release on November 4, 2022, in theaters worldwide.
