Hot off the heels of Hawkeye bringing in Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova in its fourth episode, Marvel Studios is continuing the momentum by going full steam ahead with a certain other MCU project: a little film called Spider-Man: No Way Home. Tom Holland stars in what may be the biggest Spider-Man adventure yet, spanning various film franchises through its Multiversal narrative.

Critics have weighed in on Holland's MCU threequel, with many lauding it as the best in the franchise so far. The audiences at early screenings seem to concur, as some crowd reactions reportedly matched the likes of Avengers: Endgame.

Since debuting as the character in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland's tenure as Peter Parker has been a long and wild ride. This is so much so that No Way Home even left the actor in tears, clearly emotional over the journey he's been on to get to this point.

Now, Holland has revealed which newcomer to the MCU he would like to work with the most.

Tom Holland Wants to Work With Florence Pugh

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland was asked which MCU newcomer he was excited to work with in the future.

Holland's mind instantly went to Black Widow and Hawkeye actress Florence Pugh, exclaiming that a "Spider-Man-Black Widow movie would be a fun little twist!"

"I wanna work with Florence Pugh. I think she's amazing, so good in [Black Widow], and all the movies that she's done...I think she's fantastic, so I think a really cool Spider-Man-Black Widow movie would be a fun little twist!"

A Spider-Man and Black Widow Crossover?

Florence Pugh has had an impressive filmography up to this point, delivering phenomenal performances in Midsommar, Little Women, and, of course, Black Widow. Performing alongside an acting powerhouse and rising star such as Pugh would be an exciting opportunity for Holland, so it makes sense why she is his choice to star alongside next.

This isn't the first time that Yelena Belova has been included in a wacky pair-up, as Florence Pugh herself claimed that a crossover between her hero and Tom Hiddleston's Loki would be interesting.

A team-up between Spider-Man and Yelena would make for a unique pairing, considering Pugh's character is more of a ground-level hero. Peter Parker isn't averse to espionage-type missions, having to stealth his way through Europe as the Night Monkey to take down Molten Man.

A crossover with the potential future Black Widow would return Spider-Man to a more grounded adventure akin to Homecoming, which may be just what he needs after the earth-shattering events of Far From Home and the Multiversal mayhem of No Way Home.

Fans can catch more of Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova when Hawkeye returns on December 15, 2021, while Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theaters on December 17, 2021.
