Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are slowly inching their way toward the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is already arguably the most hyped and anticipated movie since 2019's Avengers: Endgame. Leading actor Tom Holland alongside the production crew have spent more than a year teasing what's coming, and even with how much fans know already, it feels too good to be true.
Holland is in for what should be the ride of his life playing a Peter Parker who's dealing with the most stressful solo story of his MCU career to date. Kicking things off with a worldwide identity crisis before having to take on the Multiverse and the five villains at minimum it will unleash, the web-slinger is truly in for the biggest challenges of his life personally and professionally.
As the actor himself, Holland has continually spoken on just how excited he is for fans to see this movie, before appearing at the recent No Way Home world premiere event in Los Angeles, California. Following that historic night, he wasn't one to hold back any kind of emotion as the event came to an end.
Holland Tears Up Following No Way Home Premiere
After the Hollywood world premiere event for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland bared his soul and expressed gratiitude for the fans in attendance.
Twitter user @REDACTEDSpider shared an image of Holland in his tuxedo after the movie finished, tearing up as he looked out into the crowd.
@gilmour034 shared a video of Holland sharing a message to the fans in front of him. Although the audio in the video largely consists of fan cheers, Holland reportedly told the crowd "I love you so much" as he left the event.
Holland Beyond Grateful for Spider-Man Experience
It's no secret that Tom Holland has loved playing Spider-Man since he debuted as the hero in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. The young man regularly shares how much fun his time playing the character has been for the past five years, and he's done anything he can to hype up everything that's on the way in his third solo outing.
Taking some of the early spoiler-free reviews from various media outlets into account, Holland likely had as emotional of an experience watching Spider-Man: No Way Home as anyone. Now that the movie is such a short time away from fully releasing, this should only be the start of Holland's emotional journey enjoying the reactions he sees from fans.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will swing into theaters on December 17, 2021.
