After multiple pandemic-induced delays, Black Widow has finally arrived in theaters and on Disney+ via Premier Access.

The MCU prequel offers a new chapter to the Infinity Saga story of Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff. Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and before Thanos' invasion in Avengers: Infinity War, Romanoff finds herself on the run from General Ross and his Sokovia Accords, and her current situation ultimately leads to an unexpected reunion with her makeshift Russian family.

Early reactions from critics praised the family dynamic of Romanoff's family, with a good chunk of them applauding the performances of the MCU characters portrayed by Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz. Several comments also took note of the film's action sequences as well as Johansson's incredible portrayal of the female Avenger.

So far, fans are also sharing their positive reactions towards the prequel on social media, but it seems that they weren't the only ones who are joining the celebration online.

TOM HOLLAND REACTS TO BLACK WIDOW

In celebration of Marvel Studios' return to the movies, Spider-Man star Tom Holland shared his reaction to Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, admitting that it was "worth the wait" while also describing the film as "exciting and so funny."

"Been waiting ages for this film and it was worth the wait. This film is awesome!! So exciting and so funny."

MARVEL STARS PRAISE BLACK WIDOW

It's always good to see Marvel actors praising their fellow stars every time a new MCU project gets to be released. In a way, the amount of unwavering support should boost the hype for any MCU release down the road.

Many would agree with Tom Holland's comment about Black Widow as a film that was "worth the wait", especially after the delays that the project had to go through. That said, the Spider-Man actor's remarks clearly showed that the wait paid off.

Even though Black Widow deals with emotional themes, the film still has the MCU brand of humor that the franchise is known for, and Holland's comment about it being exciting and "so funny" further drove that point home.

It is also fitting that Jeremy Renner shared his reaction towards Black Widow, especially considering his character's close ties to Johansson's Natasha Romanoff. While Romanof's journey already ended, the post-credits sequence of the film did tease that Clint Barton's history with his fellow Avenger will continue to haunt him in Phase 4, and it will be interesting to see how all of this will go down in his own Disney+ series.

Black Widow is now streaming on Disney+ via Premier Access and in theaters worldwide.
