The first film of Marvel Studios' Phase 4 was Black Widow, the first solo film for Natasha Romanoff, the titular assassin. It was about time for Scarlett Johansson's Avenger to get her own project. It's a shame it had to come after she made friends with the foundation of Vorimir.

Since the film's release, more drama has surrounded the film thanks to Johansson taking legal action against Disney for breach of contract due to the hybrid release of it on both Disney+ and in theaters. Disney's response didn't help things.

It's easy to get caught up in all of the negatives, but why not focus on the good things like Florence Pugh's debut in that same film as Yelena Belova, whose character was a breakout hit and is set to have quite a future in the MCU.

When it comes to her future appearances, who could fans see her interact within the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, if it was up to her, it would be Tom Hiddleston's Loki.

Yelena and Loki Walk Into a Bar...

In a conversation with FirstpostBlack Widow's Florence Pugh was asked if there was a particular character within the MCU that she wanted to team up with—something that Pugh admitted was a challenge to answer.

Her first pick was Scarlet Witch, saying that "[she's] always been intrigued by [her]:"

"I've always been intrigued by the Scarlet Witch [played by Elizabeth Olsen]. Just because I really like how equally bizarre she is as well."

The actor finalized her pick, settling on Tom Hiddleston's Loki, who she claims "is just as opinionated" as Yelena:

"I think if Yelena were to bump into anyone from the MCU who is just as opinionated and in love of taking the p*** out of every single one of them, then I think she'd probably find [Tom Hiddleston's] Loki very interesting because he kind of does that too."

Pugh and Hiddleston, a Match Made in Heaven

One of the arguably favorite aspects of Pugh's character was Yelena's sarcastic banter and wit—she was hilarious, which was a pleasant surprise given how serious and dark some of her family's story was.

Florence Pugh is certainly on to something, as Yelena and Loki would make perfect vocal sparring buddies. Their initial meeting alone would be one for the ages, and no fighting would even have to occur.

While there aren't any signs that such a collision of personalities will occur anytime soon, some of the interactions fans saw in Avengers: Endgame were things nobody would have ever predicted years before it.

As many people like to say in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, anything is possible.
