MCU star Paul Rudd is currently enjoying a run at the top of the world, at least in the movie and entertainment industry.
The longtime comedy star was recently named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2021, joining a list of eight previous Marvel actors to have won the honor and giving the MCU back-to-back winners after Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan. This comes in addition to filming arguably one of Phase 4's biggest movies in 2023's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Rudd's Scott Lang is in for a massive adventure alongside Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne) and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) as this trio prepares to fully explore the Quantum Realm and stand toe-to-toe with Jonathan Majors' Kang The Conqueror. No story details have been revealed yet, but given these facts alone, Rudd's tiny hero will clearly be in for the ride of his life, even considering he helped save the universe in Avengers: Endgame.
While the Ant-Man threequel will be a key moment in the MCU's future, there is another third entry that's looming over movie fans across the globe in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Tom Holland's Spider-Man sequel boasts one of the most impressive casts in MCU history, combining the efforts of Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch with comic book movie icons like Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina. Rudd himself even got the chance to tackle a No Way Home question, and he utilized his classic sense of humor in his response.
Will Paul Rudd Be in Spider-Man 3?
MCU star Paul Rudd spoke with ComicBook, via Chris Killian's Twitter account, about the chances of Ant-Man showing up in Spider-Man: No Way Home during the press tour for Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
When asked about his inclusion, Rudd joked around by pretending his camera froze during his response before telling Killian, "I can't believe I just told you all of that!"

Rudd's Mouth Shut on Spider-Man
In the Infinity Saga, Ant-Man and Spider-Man have quite an interesting history with one another, which started with Spidey going full-Empire Strikes Back on Scott Lang in Captain America: Civil War. The two teamed up again for a moment, charging into the final battle of Avengers: Endgame, although their interactions have been minimal outside of that.
As for this interview, Rudd clearly understands how historic Spider-Man: No Way Home is in the MCU landscape by not even allowing himself to say a word about his potential involvement. Although it seems unlikely that Ant-Man would show up in a movie like this, Rudd is taking absolutely no chances whatsoever in allowing more secrets from this movie to come to light.
Spider-Man: No Way Home now stands as the MCU's next theatrical release with Eternals now playing, and it's becoming clear that the hype train won't slow down for a moment as its arrival inches closer.
This threequel will show the first signs of the Multiverse coming apart at the seams as Spidey comes face-to-face with iconic villains of Marvel's past, most recently including Jaime Foxx's Electro. While Rudd is surely hard at work filming his own epic MCU outing, he'll be amongst millions of fans worldwide who are aching to see everything that unfolds.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will debut in theaters on December 17, 2021. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to debut on July 28, 2023.
