In an exclusive rumor on YouTube , Kessel Run Transmissions has alleged that Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader will appear in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+series. Additionally, KRT claims that Commander Cody will be involved in the show, alongside the 212th Clone Battalion.

KRT claims that the Obi-Wan series will have a heavy emphasis on Clone Wars flashbacks, with Hayden Christensen appearing as Anakin in his Clone War-era armor. The plot of the series is said to revolve around the hunt of Obi-Wan Kenobi, whom Darth Vader is interested in finding.

The release of the Obi-Wan series is so far out, but with scripts being finalized as the show edges towards beginning its shoot it's conceivable that these details could slip. It was rumored several months back that Christensen would return as Anakin Skywalker , and the character's involvement in flashbacks makes a world of sense for a series following an exiled Obi-Wan.

Plot details have been scarce up until this point and, if true, Obi-Wan being hunted in the series could make for an excellent story. We know that Vader is obsessed with finding Kenobi and exacting revenge for his defeat on Mustafar, something the fallen pupil is still intent on doing when he appears in the second season of Rebels .

The inclusion of Commander Cody is an added element of surprise that has the potential to make for an emotional story. Obi-Wan and Cody had a close bond in The Clone Wars , making the latter's betrayal in Revenge of the Sith all the more heartbreaking. If the commander failed in his duty to successfully execute Order 66, we could see a man on a mission hellbent on righting his wrong and satisfying Vader's desire for revenge.

We're still very much in the early stages of getting details on Obi-Wan , so these rumors should of course be taken with a grain of salt. If accurate, the story elements detailed and characters involved have the potential to make Obi-Wan one of the most thrilling Star Wars projects yet.
