After dominating the big screen during the Infinity Saga, the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems poised to do the same on the small screen as the franchise expands on Disney+

The MCU's expansion on streaming allows the franchise to push side characters to the forefront while also introducing new heroes and villains along the way.

WandaVision spearheaded Phase 4 by showcasing Wanda Maximoff's transition into the Scarlet Witch, with the show also featuring the debut of Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness, SWORD, and Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showed the story of Sam Wilson's heroic transformation into the next Captain America while teasing the looming presence of Sharon Carter as the Power Broker. Loki changed the MCU like never before by opening up the concept of the Multiverse, while What If...? made history as Marvel Studios' first animated series.

Now, it seems that new MCU projects could soon be announced as part of a major Disney+ event.

Ahead of Disney+ Day, an official description of Marvel Studios' special showcase confirmed that an "exciting look" at upcoming MCU shows and "new project announcements" will be revealed.

In addition, Marvel's Disney+ Day special will also highlight previous small screen entries in Phase 4, namely WandaVision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and its first animated venture, What If...?

"Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special: The Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special explores the Disney+ series of the MCU—past, present and future. Highlighting the action, emotion, drama and humor from “WandaVision,” “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” “Loki” and “What If…?”—the special also offers an exciting look at upcoming titles and new project announcements. The Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special launches exclusively on Disney+ November 12."

Marvel Studios' presentation is set to stream at 8:45 a.m. PT/11:45 a.m. ET on Disney+ on November 12, 2021.

A Big Day for MCU's Streaming Branch

Based on this official description, it looks like the long list of rumored and reported spinoffs will soon be confirmed during Disney+ Day.

It was previously reported that Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness would receive her own spinoff series, and there's a strong chance that this could be confirmed during Marvel Studios' special presentation.

Alaqua Cox's Echo series is another notable candidate to be unveiled during Disney+ Day, especially after evidence like casting calls and filming updates surfaced in the past months. While Echo is still a character that has yet to make her MCU debut, Marvel could announce it during the showcase to hype up her upcoming involvement in Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye

Meanwhile, rumors of a Xialing-focused spinoff about the Ten Rings and a show centered around Monica Rambeau also emerged in the past months. It's possible that one of these shows or even both of them will be confirmed by Marvel during the presentation.

The description also confirms that first looks at the MCU's 2022 lineup for Disney+ will be unveiled. This could mean that a sizzle reel showcasing fresh footage of She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Secret Invasion, and Ms. Marvel are in the cards.

During Disney Investor Day, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige led the studio's presentation and the same could happen during Disney+ Day. Still, there's always a chance of guest stars appearing as new shows are announced, allowing stars like Hahn and Cox to be involved during the announcement.

Disney+ Day will be held on November 12, 2021.
