Loki recently ended its freshman run, and it did quite a lot to set up one of the MCU's biggest upcoming films: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After all, Loki did witness the multiverse breaking open—something that Sylvie allowed. Though, that's really for the best when it comes to the MCU's future.
The God of Mischief's titular show isn't the only Disney+ show that sets the future of Marvel's Phase 4 slate. WandaVision did the same thing instead of bringing the focus onto Wanda, her grief, and her desire for family. Now, she is going on to co-star in Doctor Strange's next adventure.
Already, the Disney+ shows have made a pretty good foundation for what's to come in the MCU's deep dive into the multiverse. This dive will include the introduction of America Chavez and a scary new multiversal villain. It's going to be an exciting adventure.
Now, a better look at a familiar baseball cap sporting art from the film has hit the Twittersphere.
A STRANGE HAT FOR DOCTOR STRANGE 2
Thanks to Twitter user @SanctumBlog, fans have a better look at the Doctor Strange hat that caught the attention of everyone back when Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was wearing it.
The new photos of the hat, which was given to crew members as a wrap gift, can be seen in the Tweet below:
. 2/2 Arrived today: #DoctorStrangeInTheMultiverseOfMadness Cast & Crew framed print and hat . All 4 sides of hat shown. . Print shown in previous tweet. .#DoctorSTRANGE#ScarletWitch#AmericaChavez pic.twitter.com/GKZwdoKRD0
The front of the hat features three Sanctum logos of three different colors, likely representing Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and America Chavez.
On one side there is the tiara that Wanda wears with her new costume at the end of WandaVision, and on the other is a new logo for America Chavez. On the back, the film's logo can be found.
A STRANGE ADVENTURE IN THE MCU
The overall plot isn't known, but Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness looks like it's going to be quite the ride for Marvel fans. After all, the Sorcerer Supreme has a lot to clean up, from Wanda's mess to Loki's own multiverse madness, and who knows what else will be thrown at the Sorcerer Supreme—though he'll have at least one sea creature to attend to.
Fans won't have to wait until next March to see Steven Strange again. Not only will the good doctor be seen in Marvel's upcoming animated venture What If...?, but everyone will likely get to watch what would have happened if Strange had fallen into using the Dark Arts instead of overcoming them.
That's not all. After that, Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in December, where Strange gets another mess to try to clean up—Peter's identity crisis. So, fans have tons of Stephen Strange to look forward to in the coming year of the MCU. It's the year of the Doctor.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness debuts in theaters on March 25, 2022.
