Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going all-out with the concept of alternate realities, but a good chunk of the film's plot is still shrouded in mystery.

Directed by Sam Raimi, the film is set to bring back Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme alongside Elizabeth Olsen's newly-transformed Scarlet Witch. This will mark the first team-up of the two MCU heroes, and it's clear that the anticipation is already high based on this development.

Aside from Strange and Wanda, Multiverse of Madness will also feature the MCU debut of Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez a.k.a. Miss America. Chavez is rumored to be pivotal in the film's overall narrative since she will be pursued by a multiverse-hungry villain known as Shuma Gorath

Production has already wrapped for the Doctor Strange sequel, and it looks like official promotional art from the crew members has emerged online.

A STUNNING LOOK AT DOCTOR STRANGE 2

Twitter user @Adam_Khan100 unearthed official promotional art for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, showcasing a fresh look at the main characters of the film including Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Wong, and America Chavez:

The user pointed out that was given to the cast and crew as production already wrapped for the MCU sequel:

The signatures featured in the crew gift are from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness director Sam Raimi, Production and Development Manager Richie Palmer, and Unit Production Manager Jamie Lengyel.

A MAGICAL TEAM-UP IN DOCTOR STRANGE 2

This latest promotional art presents a thrilling look at the much-anticipated team-up of the four main protagonists of the film.

Doctor Strange appears to still be wearing the Eye of Agamotto, but the Time Stone is understandably not inside. It is unknown if Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will do a deep dive into this magical artifact, but signs point that it will be addressed at some point in the film.

WandaVision featured Scarlet Witch's new costume during the finale, but it seems that the MCU hero will receive another upgrade during the Doctor Strange sequel. This is mainly due to the presence of sleeves in Wanda's attire. It remains to be seen if this art is a movie-accurate depiction of the costumes, but it is still a welcome sight to see the heroes in updated garbs ahead of the sequel.

America Chavez seems to be wearing a comic-accurate costume for her MCU debut, and this should bode well for fans of the character. Given her vital role in the narrative, it will be interesting to find out if her powers will be closely tied to the comics as well.

Wong is poised to play a bigger role in the upcoming MCU sequel, and this image might've already teased that he will be part of the multiverse-hopping adventure of the heroes to eradicate the madness that is lurking from within.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will premiere in theaters on March 25, 2022.
